Umek

Umek is personally responsible for kickstarting the electronic music scene in his home country by first organizing illegal raves and then becoming one of Slovenia’s most wanted export products and number one music ambassador to the whole world. And he does fly! Around 100 times per year, visiting almost every continent each year. His gig diary ranges from dark underground clubs in Berlin to massive techno stages on world’s most renowned festivals, such as Burning Man.  Apart from making his name in the DJ booth, he’s also a tireless producer. He mostly releases on his own imprint 1605, where he often gives the opportunity to talented producers, unknown to the broader public. His signature sound as well as his label’s production can regularly be heard on Umek’s widely popular weekly radio show Behind the Iron Curtain, which is featured on more than 150 radio stations across the world. After 26 years behind the decks he is presenting a fresh sound that is topping the charts. Vibrancy, Brethren and Specific Flavour are just a few of the latest hits that has marked number 1 on Beatport this years, where his work is a constant on techno and electronic TOP 10 chart.

Techno marathon would not be the same with a little help of a support artist ReinierZonneveld, who is currently taking over the contemporary scene with his unique view on techno.Zonneveld’s introduction to music wasthrough the classical piano lessons he began aged just three years old. Later hestarted to compose classical music pieces and performed solo piano concerts. But it was onlyafter attending his first illegal raves while studying at university that the artist we know todaybegan exploring electronic music production. After completing two masters degrees in 2015, he decided to dedicate all of his time and effortto his ever-growing passion: producing and performing techno music. Soon after, his trackswere already getting picked up by some of the biggest names in the scene. Releases quicklyfollowed on Oliver Koletzki’s Stil vor Talent, Carl Cox’s Intec and Richie Hawtin’s Minus, as didtwo official remixes for electronic legend Moby. With his productions and live sets influenced by both his classical background and his ownrave experiences, it’s no surprise that his sound contains an incredible breadth, ranging fromdeep melodic tracks to pounding warehouse acid techno. His successes include Beatport overall No.1 smash Things We Might Have Said, whichfeatured on his well-received artist album Megacity Servant. It’s clear that Reinier Zonneveld will further influence today’s global techno scene with hisunique productions and dancefloor-shaking live sets for years to come.

Being considered relatively fresh on the scene, Marseille based DJ and producer MattSassari has suitably proven his strength in both the studio and behind the decks. With releases on notable labels such as Terminal M / Intec / Tronic / Relief / Sci + TecMatts unique blend of Techno and Tech House steers his career the way he wants.Implementing his effortless live style on stage,Matts productions have proven to bepopular, taking hime across the globe. With continued support from likes of Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, ChrisLeibing, Nicole Moudaber, the future looks favourable for Matt Sassari.
